A fluffy, white dog called Colin thinks he's going for a walk but is instead whisked off to the groomer. Washed and cut to look absurd, we wonder what his owner's reaction will be.

 

In the end, his owner is happy and Colin is pleased to receive a treat for the journey home, making the traumatic experience worthwhile.

I based the character on my own dog (who is coincidentally also a white, fluffy dog called Colin). More books in the series are planned, including stories about an unwelcome visitor and a scuffle with the local cat.

Hopefully I've capture the endearing charm of the real Colin, providing entertainment for the whole family.
